Inocucor Co-Founder to Educate Farmers about Soil Ecology to Boost Yields at Carolina Farm Stewardship Conference

Montreal, Feb. 9, 2015–Inocucor Technologies Inc. Co-founder and lifelong organic farmer Ananda Lynn Fitzsimmons will travel to North Carolina this week to speak about microbial ecology in plant growing systems at the 5th Annual Organic Commodities and Livestock Conference in Rocky Mount, N.C.
The Feb. 12 event was organized by the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA) as a one-day conference for commercial farmers who want to learn more about sustainable commodity farming. It will be held at Brown Auditorium Business and Industry Center, Nash Community College in Rocky Mount.
In addition to Fitzsimmons’ talk, which will focus on how to build soil quality and boost yields, other experts will discuss organic certification, crop insurance, grains, meat marketing, organic enterprise budgets and post-harvest handling. Attendees can earn Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) Continuing Education Units (CEU) through the American Society of Agronomy.
